As a poet-at-heart,often fervent in desire to write to clarify a problem or a difficult situation, I'm going to try mixing words which advocate justice for the sick and poor, the desperate among us. I have been inspired by The Art of Advocacy article by Ben Malick. I'll be thinking about God our great artistic Creator, who used words to create everything in the world, including food & mankind, and then told us humans to oversee care of the natural world & to practice watchcare over each other. I'll be searching for stories from today's news, from Hebrew Scripture, and from Jesus to use in my weave of words of advocacy. Advocacy for action nurtured in "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self=control." (Gal.5:22-23) It will take some time so you all will see some of these poem-stories later. Thanks Ben & OCCV.
